Stephen Layton is founder and conductor of Polyphony, Music Director of the Holst Singers, and Director of Music at Trinity College Cambridge as well as Principal Conductor of the Netherlands Chamber Choir and Chief Guest Conductor of the Danish National Choir. He has appeared as guest conductor with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Equally acclaimed for his performances of 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st-century repertoire, Layton has a lengthy discography of award-winning recordings on the Hyperion label.
