Laurence Cummings is Music Director of the London Handel Festival and the Tilford Bach Society. His appearances as guest conductor include English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Handel and Haydn Society and Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment at Lincoln Center. Among his recordings is the first recording of Handel’s newly discovered Gloria with Emma Kirkby on the BIS label and a disc of Handel arias with Angelika Kirchschlager on the SONY BMG label.
